On Friday 17th July we had an unbelievable day as we took a Gifted and Talented group of students to watch the Ashes at the home of cricket - Lords. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the day and the opportunity to watch the professionals train and play.
Our Imberhorne student council were very proud today to present a cheque for £1850 to the charity, Vision Aid Overseas (VAO). Mrs Margaret Lawrence, School Governor and local optician, received the cheque on behalf of the charity she helps to support.
On Friday 10th July, Imberhorne were visited by the judges of the ‘South East in Bloom 2009’ competition along with Cllr David Banks, Chairman of East Grinstead in Bloom. We are very proud to be involved in the judges’ consideration for the town entry into the annual competition.
On Monday 15th June, John Noble, the next President of the EG Lions Club, present our Minaki student group with a cheque for £500 as a thank you for helping out at the EG Lions Mayfair. The money will go towards the fund to bring the Minaki students back over next March. Ms A.

Heroes RunOn Sunday 17th May Mr Paul Byrne and I completed the Heroes Run in Brighton in good time, even though the weather was against us with strong winds and rain, but we carried on through the ‘pain barrier’ to raise money for good causes and the Fragile X Society.
On Monday April 27th, Imberhorne had a team in the UKMT Team Mathematics Competition. This is a national competition with around 1500 schools taking part across the country.Our team went to Great Walstead School in Haywards Heath to take part in a regional final, against 29 other schools.
