What a fantastic day we had for this July's Sports Day event. Well done to all the students who took part.

Our Year 11 Prom, held at the East Sussex National and Year 13 Prom, held at Cottesmore Golf Club during July were everything we hoped they would be. The students looked fab-u-lous and spending time with them, especially on both dancefloors, was an absolute joy.

Our fabulous community festival, I-Fest took place on Friday 8th July.

We really enjoy our celebration events at Imberhorne and our Year 10 Rising Star Awards event was no exception on 7th July. As well as all students receiving a certificate in the subjects where they have shown real effort this year - we rewarded one student from every class with the 'Rising Star'

Three of our Year 8 students, Isla Gladman, Terri-Jo Munday and Nina Barnert-Kalisz represented the school at the regional final of Youth Debate at the begining of July.

We are delighted to say that Imberhorne School has just received confirmation we are one of the top-performing schools on HegartyMaths.

Year 8 embarked on their 3 day Grande Découverte in France during the end of June.

The week of Challenge 2022 with over 200 Year 9 students in Shropshire at Culmington Manor at the end of June was extremly successful. The students embraced every opportunity to push themselves out of their comfort zone and gain in character and independance.

It was great to see the return of our annual art exhibition that showcases the work of our talented art students across all three key stages. Local business Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions Group sponsored the event and selected a GCSE and A Level winner from the wonderful art work produced this year.

We welcomed students and parents/carers on the evening of 23rd June to the Year 9 Celebration Event. We have really missed getting together at these types of events over the last few years and so this made it all the more enjoyable. Congratulations to the students on their efforts this year - dis
