Imberhorne 5 – 0 Worthing High School
After a slightly delayed kick-off, our Imberhorne girls started strongly, creating plenty of chances but initially finding it difficult to score. Their hard work soon paid off with two quick goals — one from Fran and another from Zara.
There was some excellent defending throughout the first half, particularly from Lottie, who kept Worthing’s attacks at bay. Holly made a terrific 1v1 save to deny a clear goal-scoring opportunity, and Zara added her second just before half-time to give Imberhorne a solid lead.
The team continued their strong performance in the second half, putting together some great passages of play. Fran scored her second of the match, and Eve netted her first goal for the team — a fantastic moment to round off a superb display.
