Our Year 9 netball team played very well in their area versatility tournament on the afternoon of 20th September, beating Sackville School 7-0. The team won the tournament with an overall score of 37goals (conceding only 7).
The team were: L. Plummer, S. Hamblin, H. Smith, H. Dunn, S. Wallingford, G. O'Driscoll and M. Pratt.
All of the matches the team played were undefeated. They played excellently as shooters, scoring over 10 goals more than the runners-up. They defended well too with the fewest goals conceded. Well done everyone.
Match scores: 5-1 (v Millais), 8-3 (v Oathall), 5-0 (v Warden Park), 7-0 (v Sackville), 5-0 (v St. Pauls), 6-0 (v Oakmeeds) and 3-3 (v Downlands).
