In September a series of Year 9 classes took part in Geography trips to the River Darent close to Westerham in Kent. All students visited two sites, one at the source of the river and one at the mouth of the river. At each site, groups of five students measured different parts of the river looking at the depth, width and velocity of the water. All three days ran smoothly with plenty of fun and splashing…not to mention lost clipboards! A huge well done to every student and members of enthusiastic staff who took part.
